About Us

               Richard Born is a licensed psychologist in Georgia who has been in private practice since 1988.  He completed a BA in Psychology at the University of Toledo in 1973, an MA in Psychology at West Georgia College in 1979, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Georgia in 1987.  He also holds Diplomate status with the American Academy of Pain Management and Fellow Certification in Biofeedback from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America. Although he sees patients with a variety of diagnoses and problems, his practice specializes in the treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions and stress-related disorders.

               Dr. Born has been a Licensed Psychologist in Georgia since 1988 and is a member of the following professional organizations:

               Office Administration: Judy Born handles the front office at Applied Psychological Health. She schedules appointments, obtains treatment authorizations when needed, files insurance claims and checks patients in and out. Judy is available to respond to questions regarding billing and scheduling.
